Berlin / Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - Within one day, almost 900 more corona infections were reported in Hesse.
With 888 registered cases, the total number of infections reported so far was 175,378 on Friday, according to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) in Berlin (as of midnight).
The number of deaths associated with the virus rose by 64 to 5114. The so-called incidence, the infections within seven days per 100,000 inhabitants, fell further and was 84 throughout Hesse.
According to the intensive care register of the German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive and Emergency Medicine (Divi), 388 Covid-19 patients were treated in Hessen on Thursday (as of 12.15 p.m.).
185 of them were ventilated.
Throughout Hessen - including patients with other diseases - 1854 of 2119 intensive care beds were occupied.
