The child was injured, but her life is not in danger.

A 150 kg gate fell on the back of a nine-year-old girl, Thursday afternoon in the courtyard of Saint-Exupéry elementary school, in Sainte-Eulalie, in the suburbs of Bordeaux (Gironde).

She was transported to Bordeaux University Hospital.

The mayor of the commune Hubert Laporte, indicates on Facebook that the accident occurred "while a class of CM1 was going to practice sports activities under the Halle Saint-Exupery", adjacent to the school.
