Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - The number of registered corona infections in Saarland increased by a further 167 cases within 24 hours by Friday afternoon.
Since the beginning of the corona pandemic, 26,675 people in the state have been proven to be infected with the virus, as the Ministry of Health announced in Saarbrücken on Friday (as of 4 p.m.).
The number of reported deaths in connection with Sars-CoV-2 rose within one day by 10 to 788.
The seven-day incidence - the number of new infections in the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants - was 122.3 in Saarland.
2007 people are currently considered infected.
311 Covid-19 patients are currently being treated as inpatients, 73 of them in an intensive care unit (hospital numbers as of 0.01 a.m.).
