Kiel (dpa / lno) - More than 1000 people have died with or from Corona since the beginning of the pandemic in Schleswig-Holstein.
As of Friday, 21 new deaths were reported within 24 hours - the total number rose to 1006, according to the data published by the Ministry of Health in Kiel on Friday evening (data status: February 5, 8:05 p.m.).
The number of reported new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days continued to fall;
to now 63.7 after 66.3 on Thursday.
The target is less than 50 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days.
Within one day there were 272 registered new corona infections.
According to the information, 456 corona patients are currently being treated in hospitals in Schleswig-Holstein, 95 of them in intensive care, 53 with ventilation.
The number of those who have recovered is estimated at around 31,300.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 37 598 proven corona infections in the state.
