On Wednesday afternoon, the police were alerted to the travel center in Lindesberg due to an ongoing riot.

The person who sounded the alarm must have heard bangs, and the police therefore suspected that it was a shooting.

Now the prosecutor comes in the case with new information about the weapon used in the incident, which Lindenytt was the first to report.

- The weapon was a starting pistol.

It is not a working firearm.

So it sounds and bangs but there is no bullet, prosecutor Martin Ek explains.

A man in his 25s was arrested by the police on a train in Frövi. He was arrested, but then released.

The man is still suspected of crime.

- A person is suspected of grossly illegal threats.

For the person who passed the gun can not know that it is a starting gun, says Martin Ek.

The man is also suspected of violating the gun law.

The starting pistol has been seized.
