The

issue of vaccine passports has been

dividing Europe for

several weeks

.

The most cautious countries including France argue that it is not yet known whether those vaccinated are less likely to transmit the disease.

Iceland was the first country in the world to offer this vaccination passport which should allow holders to travel, but as no other country in the Schengen area recognizes, it is not used for much at the moment. .

Application to download

With its “Coronapas”, Denmark goes much further.

It will therefore be an application to be downloaded on the telephone and which will not be aimed only at vaccinated people.

If, for example, you want to go to a restaurant in the evening and you test negative in the morning, the results will be sent directly to the application.

A QR code will then allow entry into the establishment.

Denmark is already ultra connected, its inhabitants all have a secure electronic signature.

Their medical records are also fully digital.

It will still take three to four months before the application is functional.
