It was at the end of November 2015 that a man was sentenced to one month in prison for aggravated drunk driving, by Blekinge District Court.

He was given the task of setting up his specified institution no later than March 30, 2016.

But he never showed up.

The prison service never managed to get hold of the man despite a search for personnel and the years passed.

After a period of five years, the case became statute-barred and thus the man in his 60s does not have to serve his prison sentence.
