Stuttgart (AP) - The Bundesliga soccer teams VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Mönchengladbach are betting on their respective substitute goalkeepers in their DFB Cup round of 16 duel today.
As in the previous two cup rounds, Tobias Sippel is between the posts for the guests instead of Yann Sommer, at VfB as in the second round against Freiburg (1-0) Fabian Bredlow replaces Gregor Kobel.
For Swabians, veteran Daniel Didavi also replaces captain Gonzalo Castro, who is injured in the thigh, in the attacking midfield.
In comparison to the 1-1 draw at Union Berlin in the league last weekend, Lars Stindl and Florian Neuhaus moved into the starting line-up for Denis Zakaria and Hannes Wolf.
