In the clip, his wife Pia returns to what she wrote in her diary just before Christian's death.

Christian turned 71 years old.

He was a person who was always on the go.

He enjoyed building, bricklaying and donating in the garden.

Pia talks about their lives.

They were together for almost 50 years, had two children and six grandchildren.

In April, when the coronavirus had begun to spread in Sweden, everything changed.

Christian became seriously ill.

He had a high fever, was tired and fainted at regular intervals.

Last call

After Christian fainted in the bathroom, the ambulance came and picked him up for the second time and then had to be admitted to Allingås intensive care unit.

Two days later, it was confirmed that he was ill with covid-19.

Before he was put to sleep and connected to a respirator, Pia was allowed to talk to him on the phone.

It was their last conversation.

- He said that everything would be fine, or something like that.

You did not think it was the last time we talked, says Pia.

Many question marks left

After being asleep for 16 days, Christian died.

But for Lisa and Pia, there are still many question marks left.

- He was never sick before.

What was it that made him sick now, and others only get small symptoms.

It will probably take several years before we get an answer to that, says Pia.
