“Coronavirus damages the body in many ways, from the transport of oxygen by blood, ending with blood vessels and nerves in almost all organs ... We already know that deafness may occur or hearing suffers - false sounds appear,” TASS quoted Zhemchugov as saying.

He noted that the consequence of the transfer of coronavirus can be paresthesia - a violation of sensitivity, which includes sensations of tingling, burning, "crawling creeps."

Also, after a coronavirus disease, loss of smell and taste, deterioration of vision is possible.

Zhemchugov clarified that most often among the complications after COVID-19 disease is the formation of scars in the lungs of patients. 

Earlier, the chief freelance specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Stavropol Territory for infectious diseases, Doctor of Medical Sciences Larisa Tkachenko, in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, also told what complications the coronavirus can cause.
