Berlin (AP) - The Bundesliga soccer clubs RB Leipzig and VfL Wolfsburg have reached the quarter-finals in the DFB Cup.
The Saxons prevailed against the second division club VfL Bochum with 4-0 (2-0).
In the Bundesliga duel against the bottom of the table, FC Schalke 04, the Wolfsburg team came to an arduous 1-0 (1-0).
In Leipzig, Amadou Haidara (11th minute), Marcel Sabitzer (45th + 1) and Yussuf Poulsen (66th / 75th) met for RB.
Wout Weghorst (40th) scored the decisive goal for Wolfsburg in the margin after a penalty he awarded.

The day before, the Bundesliga clubs Werder Bremen and Borussia Dortmund, the second division Holstein Kiel and, surprisingly, the regional division Rot-Weiss Essen had made it into the round of the last eight.
The quarter-finals will be drawn on February 7th.
The games will take place on March 2nd and 3rd.
The semi-finals are scheduled for May 1st and 2nd, the final is on May 13th in Berlin.
