Radio France is increasing the number of agreements in podcasts: after Spotify and Deezer, the public group announced on Wednesday a partnership with one of the main aggregators of audio content on Android, Podcast Addict, further extending the distribution of its productions.

"Through this agreement, users of Podcast Addict, like those of other partner platforms, will be able to access free of charge a catalog of podcasts selected from among the 1.5 million podcasts available on the Radio France application," said the group of radio in a press release.

Podcast Addict is an application developed by a Frenchman, Xavier Guillemane, which has millions of users on Google's operating system, Android.

The group is therefore working extra hard in the execution of its new digital distribution policy, presented in September, which consists of making agreements with all the players who wish to distribute its podcasts, regardless of their size.

These partnerships allow the group to regain control of the use of its content on digital platforms, and guarantees, for example, the remuneration of rights holders.

The group had signed agreements with music streaming platforms Deezer, in October, and Spotify, in November.
