On Tuesday, the local restrictions were introduced in Strömstad, following the recent dramatic coron wave in the municipality.

Much has been canceled, school children have been sent home and a ban on visiting old people's homes is imminent.

In SVT's Morgonstudion, local councilor Kent Hansson (S) said that it had not been possible to trace the outbreak in the same way as before.

"Previously, you could trace some to paddle playing, but that was before and this time we will not find a common denominator," he said in the broadcast.
