Bielefeld (dpa / lnw) - With 157 instead of the allowed 50 kilometers per hour, the police in Bielefeld caught a speedster.
The 31-year-old was far too quickly in front of the measuring device for the officials on Monday evening.
According to a statement from Tuesday, he said he had to check the engine after an overhaul.
However, because of his reckless driving style and high speed, the police assumed an illegal car race and initiated criminal proceedings.
There was also trouble for a blank pistol in the car for which the driver did not have a gun license.
