According to preliminary data from USAID, the project will operate for five years.

Up to $ 24.9 million can be allocated for its implementation.

“Objective: to promote justice for all by strengthening systems and services in the field of justice, as well as public participation to make appropriate decisions regarding the legal problems of Ukrainian citizens and their needs in the field of justice,” the document says.

The American agency expects that the program will help strengthen the independence and accountability of judicial institutions, improve the quality of services provided to the population and access to them.

It is also expected to provide civil society and activists with tools to ensure oversight of the work of justice services and stimulate the request for judicial reform in Ukraine.

Last year, the Council of Europe allocated funds to develop the Training Center for Ukrainian Prosecutors and improve the interaction of the prosecutor's office with the public.
