Russian opposition activist Alexey Navalni, arrested and arrested after returning home after being treated for poisoning in Germany, was sentenced to prison.

Navalni, who has consistently accused Russian government officials of corruption, fell down and fell into a coma while traveling from Tomsk, Siberia to Moscow in August of last year.



He stayed at Omsk Hospital in Siberia, and three days later he was transferred to a German hospital for treatment. After regaining consciousness after 18 days, he stayed in Berlin for a while and received rehabilitation.
