Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - In Baden-Württemberg, the same six regions are still above the threshold of 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days.

In Pforzheim, the districts of Waldshut and Tuttlingen as well as in the Ortenau district and in the Alb-Donau district, the seven-day incidence exceeded this mark on Tuesday (as of 4 p.m.), as the State Health Office in Stuttgart announced.

Heilbronn recorded the highest value with 173.8.

32 urban and rural districts are above the limit of 50 reported cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days.

The nationwide seven-day incidence continued to decline to 70.2.

In the meantime, according to the announcement, 394 cases with virus variants from 32 urban and rural districts have been transmitted to the State Health Office.

The number of confirmed corona cases rose by 1121 compared to the previous day to a total of 295 282. 45 more people have died of the corona virus, so 7210 so far;

262,390 are considered recovered. Politicians are aiming for an incidence value of 50 so that health authorities can track the contacts of infected people again.
