Since the start of the epidemic, 77,238 people have died from Covid-19 in France, according to the latest report published Tuesday by the health authorities.

The pressure on hospitals continues to increase in France, with more than 28,000 patients hospitalized for Covid-19 on Tuesday.

More than 400 patients (404) of Covid-19 have died in hospital in the last 24 hours, according to data Tuesday evening from Public Health France which reports hospitalizations still on the rise, including in intensive care.

In total, 77,238 people have lost their lives due to Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic, Public Health France indicated on Tuesday, including 54,213 in hospital.

More than 28,000 people hospitalized because of the Covid

As for health establishments, 28,029 Covid-19 patients were hospitalized on Tuesday (or 155 more compared to the day before), with 2,189 new admissions in 24 hours against 1,750 on Monday.

And 3,270 Covid-19 patients, among the most serious cases, were in intensive care or intensive care, a figure also on the rise, with 52 additional people in these services in 24 hours.

The circulation of the virus remains rather stable at a high level with 23,337 additional cases of Covid-19 identified in 24 hours.

Four weeks after the start of vaccination in France, more than 1.54 million people received at least one dose of the vaccine.
