The Yunnan Forestry and Grass Bureau stated in the letter that the next step will focus on the following three aspects:

Scientifically formulate special plans for the protection and utilization of ancient tea tree resources and picking specifications, increase efforts to restore the ecological environment of ancient tea trees, guide the masses to scientifically manage and pick ancient tea trees, maintain the good ecology of ancient tea mountains and ancient tea gardens, and effectively protect and use Yunnan The ancient tea tree is a precious resource and brand.
The Yunnan Provincial Forestry and Grass Bureau also stated that prior to this, it carried out a six-month special rectification for illegal encroachment of forest land, tea planting and deforestation and other violations of forest resources. The province has handled illegal encroachment of forest land, deforestation and planting. There were more than 1,100 criminal cases of forest resources, including 437 cases of tea planting and deforestation, cracking down on 412 criminals; 341 public officials who violated laws and disciplines were held accountable, and 145 forest guards were dismissed; and the infringed forest land was recovered according to law 4298.76 Hectares, and 5072.36 hectares of restored vegetation (including collective forest contracted to households).
