Garmisch-Partenkirchen (dpa) - Ski racer Kira Weidle also screwed up the second part of the World Cup dress rehearsal.

In the second Super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which was postponed from Sunday to Monday due to fog, the Starnberg-based woman only finished 24. 2.20 seconds behind the once again outstanding Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami, who had already triumphed on the Kandahar on Saturday and celebrated their fourth win in a row in this discipline.

The Slovak overall World Cup leader Petra Vlhova (+0.28) came in second, ahead of the Austrian Tamara Tippler (+0.74).

The second German starter, Anna Schillinger, dropped out.

Already on Saturday it was enough for the German speed hope Weidle only to place 23 at the home World Cup.

It was the last women's race before the World Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo (February 8-21).
