Greifswald (dpa / mv) - The district of Vorpommern-Greifswald wants to override the stricter corona rules.

The nocturnal curfew and the restricted range of motion should be lifted from Tuesday, as a spokeswoman for the district confirmed on Monday.

The radio station Ostseewelle had previously reported.

On Friday, the Greifswald administrative court granted objections to stricter corona requirements in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district.

Several people objected to the night curfew and the restricted range of motion.

The administrative court had granted the legal protection applications of two plaintiffs from Greifswald, so that the rules had already been repealed for them.

According to the court, there are also fundamental doubts about the legality.

At the beginning of last week, the Vorpommern-Greifswald district imposed stricter corona rules, according to which it is forbidden to leave your own apartment or property between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. without good reason.

Accordingly, one must not move further than a 15-kilometer radius from the place of residence for no reason.

These increased protective measures against the spread of the coronavirus have come into force because the district has had a higher incidence value than 150 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in one week and is therefore a high-risk area.
