A spectacular fire
has calcined at least 10 of the 50 motorhomes and caravans
of a company that sells and leases this type of vehicle located on Avenida de Daganzo in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).
The flames have also charred the sales booth where it is suspected that the fire that has spread quickly has started.
The firefighters have come to the place and have been able to make a firebreak and prevent the rest of the motorhomes from burning.
The column of smoke is visible throughout the Henares corridor.
10 fire crews have attended the area.
Upon arrival, the sales booth and some of the motorhomes attached to this portable office were already burning.
The fire brigade has been used extensively to secure an area where
there were propane bottles for the caravans.
At the moment, it is estimated that about 10 motorhomes have burned.
No injuries have been registered in the incident.
A device from the Summa 112 also remains in the area of the event as a preventive measure.
The company affected by the incident is
CaravaningK2
and it has been installed in that place for more than a decade.
They advertise as distributors of the main brands of motorhomes, caravans and campers and offer customers formats and brands of different models for any type of trip.
