Mülheim / Ruhr (dpa / lnw) - In a deflagration on the site of a waterworks in Mülheim an der Ruhr, a worker was injured by smoke gases on Monday.
The deflagration occurred for an initially unexplained cause while working on a sand washing plant.
As a result, conveyor belts and plastic parts caught fire, as the fire department reported.
Due to heavy smoke development, the population was asked via a warning app to keep windows and doors closed.
The worker was taken to a hospital.
The mission ended after two hours.
