On January 31, the spokesperson of the National Health Commission Mi Feng said that in some places, there have indeed been cases where the health monitoring and nucleic acid testing of returnees have been overwhelmed and one-size-fits-all, which has aroused widespread concern in the whole society.
On the basis of summing up the experience and lessons of the previous stage, the country formulated the epidemic prevention and control policy during the Spring Festival travel period in accordance with the law, also in order to reduce the risk of the spread of the epidemic as much as possible, and by no means set up barriers that exceed the prevention and control needs for the Spring Festival reunion.
Layers of overweight and one size fits all are both a lazy policy and a waste of precious resources for epidemic prevention.
All localities must standardize and implement the requirements for epidemic prevention and control during the Spring Festival transport period of 2021, and do scientific and precise epidemic prevention and control related work. They must not increase the number of layers without authorization on the basis of the current policies, and must not implement one-size-fits-all work.
The comprehensive group of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council will notify the places where the “six prohibitions” of returning to the hometown are obviously violated and require immediate rectification.
