“Hello, I am coming to vaccinate you!

This is, roughly, what a man claimed on Saturday morning to an elderly couple from Mélisey, in Haute-Saône.

The man, masked and equipped with a briefcase, introduced himself as a health professional sent by the town, reports

L'Est Républicain

.

Not convinced, the couple did not let him in before warning the neighboring gendarmerie of Lure.

“Some people have been approached at home for a vaccination against Covid.

It is fraudulent canvassing.

Please notify the gendarmerie ”, wrote the town hall of Mélisey on the PanelPocket network.
