The Dubai Health Authority obligated all licensed health facilities, concerned with conducting corona examinations, to issue results within a maximum of 48 hours, from the time the sample was taken, and to report them immediately.

In a circular issued today, regarding the time taken for the results of laboratory tests for the Coronavirus, the authority stressed the need not to exceed the time period for taking laboratory test samples to test for the Corona virus, and until the examination results are issued to patients and their inclusion in a 48-hour immunity system by the laboratory concerned with providing the service And adherence to the guidelines for updating the examination standards for "Covid-19", which includes all the directives concerned with reporting the examination results.

And she stressed the need to adhere to reporting the results of laboratory tests immediately and to ensure that they are updated on the electronic platform "immunity", to obtain accurate statistics that facilitate monitoring and investigation procedures for virus cases.

She stated that this circular is effective as of January 31, and that all concerned health facilities must fully adhere to the provisions contained in it to avoid any legal accountability, stressing the great role played by all its strategic partners in the field of health care, and their efforts to combat the Coronavirus pandemic - (Covid-19), providing better health care to patients and ensuring success in the challenges of combating the Corona pandemic.

In another context, Dubai Health issued a circular about updating the standards of laboratory corona examination, in line with the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the state in general and the Emirate of Dubai in particular, and a commitment by the authority in Dubai to provide its partners with all developments related to health practices, legislation and regulations governing the provision of health services And health, curative, preventive and pharmaceutical products in the health sector in Dubai.

And she stressed the need to adhere to the new update by all health facilities and professionals licensed by the Dubai Health Authority, and to fully adhere to the update to avoid any violations that may be issued in this regard.
