Prime Minister Jean Castex announced on Friday evening the closure as of this Sunday of non-food shopping centers with an area greater than 20,000 m2 where customers move in droves.

Also, as of Saturday evening, the Beaulieu (33,000 m2) and Atlantis (43,000 m2) shopping malls in the metropolis of Nantes closed their doors for an unspecified period.

The Ikéa store in Saint-Herblain has also closed its doors, even though its area is less than 20,000 m2.

Indeed, it does not have an independent entrance from the Atlantis shopping center.

The Galeries Lafayette in the center of Nantes are open this Sunday and for at least the whole week.
