Duisburg (dpa / lno) - After the defeat in the basement duel at MSV Duisburg, VfB Lübeck is again bottom of the table in the 3rd football league.
The promoted team lost 1: 3 (0: 2) to the previous team on Sunday.
Arne Sicker (26th), Dominik Schmidt (45th + 3) and Federico Palacios (74th) gave the former Bundesliga club a clear lead.
Only in the final phase did Osarenren Okungbowa (83rd) meet for Lübeck.
With one game less, they are one point behind the saving 16th place in the table.
VfB coach Rolf Landerl had the same starting eleven as in the 1-0 win against SpVgg Unterhaching.
The Lübeckers controlled the ball and opponents with a lot of calm and ball safety.
But out of nowhere, the 1-0 for Duisburg fell through Sicker, who hit from the half-left back with a low shot.
As a result, VfB acted far too passively, which was punished with a 2-0 header from Schmidt in stoppage time in the first half.
