Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - In Saarland, the health authorities registered 88 new infections with the corona virus on Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Health in Saarbrücken, the number of people who died with or from Covid-19 remained at 749 (as of 4:00 p.m.).
The seven-day incidence - the number of new infections in the last seven days based on 100,000 inhabitants - was 126.4; on Friday it was 118.4.
Often fewer cases are reported at the weekend, as fewer tests are usually carried out and evaluated.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 25,782 people in Saarland have been found to be infected with Sars-CoV-2.
1982 people are currently infected, 23 051 are considered to have recovered.
299 Covid-19 patients are currently being treated as inpatients, 71 of them in intensive care.
