Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - In Baden-Württemberg, 24 other people died in connection with the corona virus.

This adds up to the number of people who have died since the start of the pandemic. That comes from a situation report by the State Health Office from late Sunday.

The number of confirmed corona cases increased by 530 to 293 576 compared to the previous day. 259 992 people are considered recovered.

The seven-day incidence is 74.0 and has hardly changed compared to the previous day (73.9) (as of Sunday, 4 p.m.)

On weekends, the numbers are usually lower due to fewer tests or reporting delays.

The most new infections in the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants are in the Heilbronn district with 199.1 - on Saturday the value here was 179.3.

The district of Emmendingen has the lowest value with 28.2.

34 urban and rural districts are above the incidence value of 50 that politicians are aiming for so that health authorities can track the contacts of infected people again.

Ten are already below the incidence of 50.

According to the intensive care registry of the German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive and Emergency Medicine (Divi), 425 corona patients were in intensive care units in Baden-Württemberg on Sunday, of which 238 were invasively ventilated.

85.2 percent of the operable intensive care beds were occupied, including patients with other diseases.
