According to the press service of the department, the country will receive the first batches of vaccines in mid-February.

“The first batches of vaccines against coronavirus will arrive in Moldova in mid-February.

We are talking about 24,570 doses of Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine, as well as 264,000 doses of Oxford / AstraZeneca vaccines, ”the statement says.

It is specified that Moldova on January 30 received the corresponding confirmation of the supply of vaccines through the COVAX mechanism.

According to the latest data, 159,513 cases of coronavirus were detected in Moldova.

To date, 149,562 people have recovered in the country after COVID-19, 3,434 patients have died.
