Munich / Augsburg (dpa / lby) - FC Bayern Munich wants to take revenge against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.

In the first half of the season, the German record champions had to admit defeat 1: 4.

After three victories in the past English week, the Munich team should now have their next success on Saturday (3.30 p.m. / Sky) in their home arena.

Coach Hansi Flick, who used to work in Hoffenheim himself, has to do without several players.

Among other things, the league leaders are missing midfielders Leon Goretzka and Javi Martínez, who tested positive for the corona virus.

FC Augsburg have to compete at Borussia Dortmund on Saturday (3:30 p.m.).

The team of coach Heiko Herrlich was able to surprise BVB in the first half of the season with 2-0 and is now hoping for the next coup.

"We managed to control their strengths in the first leg," said Herrlich.

They'll try that on Saturday too.
