The photo posted by Mae Archie, a young American, on her TikTok account appears banal at first.

But above it hides one of the biggest stars of music quietly crossing a pedestrian crossing: Paul Mccartney.

The American did not realize this unexpected presence on her photo (a photobombing) until much later to her great regret, reports

This event took place in 2019. The young girl, then aged 17, was on vacation in New York.

She was coming out of an exhibition devoted to rock'n'roll at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET).

She had her picture taken on a pedestrian crossing, without paying attention to the person who was passing next to her: the former Beatles.

Once back home

It was only when she returned home in Connecticut that the young American realized that a man had stuck on her vacation photo and that it was not a stranger.

"I was downright hallucinated," says the American who unveiled the cliché on January 18 in a video on TikTok gathering more than 100,000 views and 23,000 likes.

“Sitting in my room, I kept staring at the photo.

But I couldn't put a name on that face, which is kind of weird because I'm a huge fan [of Paul McCartney] and just got out of an exhibition where he was featured, ”she said. entrusted to the British media

.

“When I understood, I was stuck, I was completely overexcited.

"

Afterwards, the young girl regrets not having been able to discuss with one of her idols.

But this unusual photo is now printed and framed.

She could be enthroned next to another photo mixing the Beatles and a pedestrian crossing, the famous photo from the Abbey Road album with the four members of the group crossing the road.
