December 16, 2019 The Milan Public Prosecutor has asked for the indictment of 28 right-wing extremists, including members of Casapound, Forza Nuova and Lealtà ezione, accused of apologia for fascism for the call of the "present" and the Roman greetings, during the procession in memory of Sergio Ramelli, last April 29, in via Paladini in Milan.

The investigation is coordinated by the Milan prosecutor Enrico Pavone and the head of the anti-terrorism pool Alberto Nobili. In total, 29 positions appear in the Milanese investigation.

Roberta Capotosti, representative of Casapound Italia, is only accused (in competition with Alfredo Durantini and Luca Cassani, respectively exponents of Forza Nuova and Lealtà ezione) of having violated the provisions on public safety for having made the procession, which had to take place in a static way, moved "along the unauthorized path up to via Paladini 15", where there is the mural in memory of the neo-fascist militant, who died after an ambush on April 29, 1975.

Among the 28 suspects for apologia for fascism , also the president of Casapound Italia Gianluca Iannone, the publisher of Altaforte and exponent of Casapound Francesco Polacchi, Luca Cassani of Loyalty and Action, Alfredo Durantini of Forza Nuova.

As stated in the charge against them, they are accused of having violated the Scelba law for having carried out "usual manifestations of the dissolved fascist party, such as the call of the present made by Luca Cassani three times, to which all those present responded by shouting 'present' and, holding the right arm and the palm of the right hand facing each other, simultaneously performing the Roman salute ".

In recent months, the Digos of Milan, which conducted the investigation coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office, identified 28 people among the over a thousand neo-fascists who had gathered in front of the commemorative mural of the young man who died 44 years ago after an attack on a few meters from his house by militants of the Avanguardia Operaia.

That day there were also scuffles and lightening charges during the procession of far-right militants who, starting from Piazzale Susa despite the prefect's prohibitions, left the garrison and tried to force the deployment of the police to get closer to another anti-fascist procession.
