Kiel (dpa / lno) - The Jamaica coalition wants to set up five more steles for the protection of the constitution in Schleswig-Holstein.

This is one of the amendments proposed by the CDU, Greens and FDP coalition groups to the government's draft budget for 2021, which is due to be adopted at the end of February.

"We are creating five new positions at the Office for the Protection of the Constitution in order to counter the extremist threats to our free society more effectively and to respond to increased demands," said FDP finance politician Annabell Krämer on Friday.

"Because we Free Democrats want a constitutional protection, which remains operationally capable of action and which can counter any form of extremism - be it left, right or Islamist motivated - with all its might."

The department currently has around 120 positions.

Jamaica has put together an overall package in which all partners can find themselves, said CDU finance politician Ole-Christopher Plambeck.

"I am particularly pleased about the five additional positions for setting up sports classes at the partner schools for competitive sports."

The Greens were also satisfied.

"We have achieved that the state will support practice-integrated training for educators with up to 1.5 million euros per year in the future," reported her financial expert Lasse Petersdotter.

The applications set clear “green accents” for fairness in education and climate protection.

According to the coalition resolutions, the state intends to support the repair of the lightship “Fehmarnbelt” in Lübeck with 250,000 euros.
