Vox has announced that it will hold an interview in jail with former commissioner José Manuel Villarejo if the PSOE and United We can maintain the veto of his appearance in the Congressional investigation commission on the so-called Kitchen operation, which aims to clarify the alleged use of media public by the Ministry of the Interior of Mariano Rajoy to spy on Luis Bárcenas.

This has been announced by the Vox spokesperson in that commission, Macarena Olona, who has detailed that she has already arranged with Villarejo, through her lawyer, the holding of that meeting in prison, and which will be dated if this afternoon the PSOE and United We can prevent him from being summoned to testify.

If so, Vox would consider that a "fraud" would be perpetrated since it considers Villarejo a "nuclear piece" of the Kitchen operation.

Therefore, he has warned that he would go to pose his questions to the former prison commissioner and then make his answers public.

Vox has assured that there will be "absolute transparency" and "light and stenographers" in that interview with Villarejo in jail and that both the recording and the full transcript will be put at the service of the investigation commission so that it can be used by the rest of the groups.

"Where they wanted to build a wall, we have blown it up," said Olona, who has expressly accused the PSOE of rejecting Villarejo due to the risk that he could splash him.

And for that he is counting on the help of Podemos, which he has described as "the washing machine that cleans the dirty laundry of the socialists."

"They want a controlled blasting," Olona lamented, "so that the investigation does not go to the end so that elements that end up harming" both cannot emerge.

Vox will maintain its threat to meet with Villarejo unless this afternoon in the investigation committee there is a change of opinion and his appearance is accepted.

For Vox it is "useful, pertinent and necessary" because the judicial investigation of the Kitchen operation comes out of the roles of the former commissioner.
