This is reported by TASS with reference to the post of Rada deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko in his Telegram channel.

“The Committee on Energy Issues supported a bill banning imports of electricity from Russia and Belarus,” he wrote.

According to the deputy, electricity from Russia and Belarus is a "dangerous hook" for Ukraine and this bill will secure the country.

Earlier, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine called for the abandonment of a single energy system with Russia.

On January 19, Belarus, at the request of Ukraine, supplied 3.1 million kWh of electricity to the Ukrainian energy system under an emergency assistance agreement.
