Munich (dpa / lby) - The people in Bavaria have to prepare locally for thaw and the risk of flooding.
According to the German Weather Service (DWD), Thursday starts with prolonged rain.
In the south of Bavaria, the weather experts expect the snow to melt.
The weather service therefore warns of thaws in the south, in the extreme south even of severe thaws.
Meteorologists are also warning of thaws in the north of the country.
In parts of Lower and Upper Franconia, floods can occur, as the flood news service announced.
The maximum values are eight to twelve degrees.
