A heavy snowfall pulled over Halland on Wednesday evening, this led to several traffic accidents occurring in the county.

- From 4.50 pm onwards, we had six accidents.

Among other things, it was on road 25 at the height of Simlångsdalen and two on the E6.

There were no more serious accidents, however, says Thomas Andersson, at the rescue service in Halmstad.

According to the police, these include two accidents on the E6, one between Getinge and Kvibille and one at the height of Mellbystrand.

No serious injuries are reported.

The rescue service has not had any extra preparedness during the night considering the weather and Thomas Andersson says that they have now started clearing snow on the major roads.

- Now it is up to motorists to adapt their driving to prevailing road conditions.

According to the Swedish Transport Administration, the situation is difficult on several roads in the county, with the risk of mudslides, loose snow and slipperiness.
