She noted that in order to take control of COVID-19, at least 60% of the total number of adults should be vaccinated in Russia, excluding those who have been ill.
Thus, she answered the question whether there is any hope that people will “take off their masks” in 2021.
Earlier, the head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, noted that it would be possible to stop wearing masks after the formation of population immunity to COVID-19 among the population.
