Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - Second division soccer team Fortuna Düsseldorf has prematurely extended the contract with goalkeeper Florian Kastenmeier by two years until summer 2024.
Fortuna announced this on Thursday.
The 23-year-old came to Fortuna from VfB Stuttgart in 2019 and is now a regular goalkeeper there.
«Florian Kastenmeier is one of the most important factors for the good shape our team is in.
In the first half of the season he has often shown how important he is for our team and how much he has developed over the past year, ”said Sports Director Uwe Klein.
