Hürth (dpa) - The finalists have been determined in RTL's television jungle: on Thursday evening, viewers sent reality TV veterans Djamila Rowe (53 / “Die Alm”) and Filip Pavlovic (26 / “Die Bachelorette”) by phone Election in the all-important round.

Sam Dylan (29, "Prince Charming") and Christina Dimitriou (29, "Temptation Island") did not get enough votes and had to leave the show.

Previously, the candidates had to run at dizzying heights on a treadmill - with varying degrees of success: Rowe fell from the tower (secured with a rope) without a star, Dimitriou gave up immediately, Dylan got two stars and Pavlovic even all three.

Because the Cologne private broadcaster had to cancel the traditional jungle camp from Australia this year because of the corona pandemic, the RTL “jungle show” is currently running.

The winner of the show has a place in the program "I am a star - get me out of here" in the coming year for sure.

When Rowe found out that she still had a chance at this ticket, she burst into tears with joy.

In the final, she and Pavlovic will now meet reality TV candidate Mike Heiter (“Love Island”) and “Prince Charming” winner Lars Tönsfeuerborn, who had been elected to the final the day before.

They had prevailed against the singer Lydia Kelovitz (“Germany is looking for the superstar”) and model Zoe Saip (“Germany's next top model”).

The presenter of the show, Sonja Zietlow, announced that another jungle camp participant for the year 2022 will be announced in the final.

In the first semi-final, Lucas Cordalis, son of the very first jungle king Costa Cordalis, announced that he would follow in his father's footsteps in the coming year and take part in the RTL jungle camp.
