Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Emilia Romagna, in addition to the autonomous province of Bolzano, are the Italian areas in dark red in the map of infections from Covid-19 just published by the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (Ecdc), updated to January 28.

The colors simulate the application of the recommendation on intra-EU travel restrictions to the ECDC map

The dark red areas mean that those who want to enter or leave these areas will have to undergo Covid-19 tests and quarantine.

In the new map, large areas of Portugal, Spain, Ireland, the Czech Republic, the Baltic countries and some areas of the Scandinavian countries, Germany and France are also in the dark red zone.
