Schwerin (dpa / mv) - The volleyball players from SSC Palmberg Schwerin are well equipped for the Champions League second round in the coming week.

With 3-0 (25:19, 25:20, 25:17), the team of coach Felix Koslowski prevailed on Wednesday evening in the Bundesliga duel against the Rote Raben Vilsbiburg and, thanks to the victory, moved up to third place in the table.

The Mecklenburg women needed around 80 minutes for the game.

The hosts had the game under control for long stretches and in the third round they used the first of seven match points to a clear success.

The SSC had already set an example in the first set with a quick 5: 1 lead and played their superiority in the second round.
