This was reported on the website of the Foreign Ministry.

As noted in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, “time has proved that there is no real alternative to the“ nuclear deal ”, all the recipes necessary for the successful implementation of the JCPOA are embedded in it”.

"At the same time, of course, in the two and a half years from the moment the United States withdrew from the deal and began to create obstacles to its implementation by other countries, many problems have accumulated, without the solution of which it is impossible to effectively ensure the carefully verified balance of interests on which the JCPOA was originally built." , - the message says.

The ministry noted that from the new US administration "there are signals of its intention to abandon the course of undermining comprehensive agreements and return to fulfilling its obligations under UNSCR 2231, as prescribed by Article 25 of the UN Charter."

“If these statements are supported by concrete deeds, this can only be welcomed.

We presume that the return of the United States to fulfill its obligations under the JCPOA should not become a subject of bargaining or a reason for revising the deal, as well as imposing additional conditions on Iran or other parties to the agreements, ”the ministry said.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that "there is no need to complicate anything or reinvent anything, we must strictly be guided by the letter of the JCPOA."

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, following talks with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif, said that Russia would continue to make efforts to return the United States and Iran to the implementation of the JCPOA.

Also, EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that the European Union supports efforts to return the United States to work within the framework of the JCPOA on a settlement around Iran.
