Boeing's setbacks include a net loss of nearly $ 12 billion over the whole of last year.

Thus, the group's turnover fell by 24% in 2020 to stand at just over $ 58 billion.

As a result, the group announced the delay in deliveries of the 777X, at the end of 2023. This is the third time that deliveries of this device have been delayed.

In October, Boeing boss Dave Calhoun again said it would be delivered to customers as early as 2022.

This delay is not surprising to experts.

As a result of the pandemic, demand for international travel between major airports such as London, New York or Tokyo has practically evaporated.

And then, after the collapse in ticket sales since the start of the crisis, companies simply do not have the means to afford new planes and are instead looking for the planes already in their fleet.

The only positive point for Boeing: its

737 MAX is once again authorized to fly

in Europe.
