According to Reuters, a government official in Stockholm, Sweden, said on January 27 that the Blue Hall of Stockholm City Hall, where the Nobel Prize dinner is usually held, will be transformed into a temporary new crown vaccination center.
This 1500 square meter hall hosts Sweden's most popular social event every year. The spacious space is considered an ideal place for vaccination.
The number of deaths from the new crown in Sweden has exceeded 11,000.
The country started the new crown vaccination work in December 2020.
In 2020, due to the raging new crown epidemic, the Nobel Prize award ceremony will be held online, and the award dinner will have to be cancelled, breaking the tradition for the first time in more than half a century.
