Freiburg (AP) - SC Freiburg is lending midfielder Amir Abrashi to the Swiss first division club FC Basel until the end of the season.
That was announced by the Baden Bundesliga club on Wednesday.
Abrashi moved from Grasshoppers Zurich to Freiburg in summer 2015 and has since played 98 competitive games for the sports club.
In the current season, the 30-year-old Albanian national player only made five league appearances for the Breisgauer.
