Paderborn (dpa) - Holstein Kiel missed the jump to second place in the second division.

On Wednesday, the FC Bayern Munich cup conqueror at SC Paderborn did not go beyond a 1-1 (1-1).

The reward for this was the fourth game without defeat in a row for the team of coach Steffen Baumgart.

With 26 points from 18 games, the East Westphalia jumped into the top half of the table to ninth place.

Both teams had good chances of victory.
