Several roofs have collapsed into the county and other buildings have had to close due to the risk of landslides.

One of them is Elofssonhallen in Röbäck.

On Monday, the association tried to get hold of roof cutters but went for it - because everyone was busy elsewhere.

The companies in Umeå that work with snow removal testify to an extremely hard pressure right now after the latest snowstorm.

And it is difficult to get staff.

- It is a tough market and very many roofs that need to be shot.

It is difficult to find people, says Johan Vestin, who works for a company that builds roofs in Umeå.

"Hard to shovel a roof for a whole day"

There are also safety requirements for staying on the roofs, which places demands on those who are employed.

- It's not just about developing roof cutters.

Without it, there must be qualified personnel with the right safety training who can take care of everyone.

It is not possible to throw 20 new people on a roof, says Johan Vestin and continues:

- It is also hard to shovel roofs for a whole day, everyone who has been out shoveling for an hour in the yard knows that.

If you do not have good physique before, you get it anyway, he says.
